Introduction: Dr. Hanne De Jaegher
Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be some changes in the agenda of the conference. Wishing to be fully transparent, I herewith inform you of these changes.
Dr. Hanne De Jaegher will replace Dr. Ataria’s contribution to the conference. Dr. De Jaegher will give a keynote presentation on participatory sense-making. The presentation and a discussion will be hosted streamed yet live in English. On Friday 20 October the recording will be shown with German subtitles. Note, Dr. De Jaegher has been one of our first choices to invite as a keynote speaker, so we are thrilled that -in the end- she can give a presentation after all. Ellert also refers to her work in his publication.
Hanne De Jaegher is a philosopher, cognitive scientist, writer, researcher and teacher. She developed the theory of participatory sense-making. Among her publications is the co-authored Linguistic Bodies: The Continuity Between Life and Language (2018, MITPress). She co-directs Dialogica UK. Ultimately guiding her work is the question of how loving and knowing relate.
